By registering for any course, training, or service offered by Genesis Defensive Training, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions.

Payments & Refund Policy

All course payments are non-refundable. Registrations are non-transferable to another course date unless a cancellation notice is provided at least 72 hours before the scheduled course date.  

Cancellations made within 72 hours of the scheduled course, failure to attend, or late arrivals resulting in missed training may result in forfeiture of registration and payment.

Registration Transfers

Course registrations may be transferred to another individual with prior approval from Genesis Defensive Training. The original purchaser is responsible for notifying Genesis Defensive Training in advance of any participant change.   All cancellation and attendance policies will continue to apply.

Attendance & Late Arrival Policy

Students are expected to arrive on time and attend all required training hours, including any live-fire qualification sessions where applicable.  Late arrivals may be denied entry into class or qualification sessions and may forfeit their registration without refund.

Range & Qualification Requirements

Students participating in live-fire training or qualification courses must bring a qualifying firearm in safe working condition unless otherwise specified. Students are responsible for any applicable range fees unless explicitly included in the course price.

Failure to attend a scheduled qualification session or failure to meet course requirements may require re-qualification during a future course and may be subject to additional fees.

Course Rescheduling & Cancellations by Genesis Defensive Training

Genesis Defensive Training reserves the right to reschedule, cancel, or modify any course due to insufficient enrollment, instructor availability, facility limitations, weather conditions, safety concerns, or unforeseen circumstances.  

In the event a course is rescheduled by Genesis Defensive Training, payments will be applied toward a future course date.

Eligibility Requirements

Students must be legally eligible to possess and handle firearms in accordance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws.

Liability & Responsibility

By attending training, students acknowledge that firearms training and defensive training activities involve inherent risks. Students agree to follow all safety instructions, range commands, and instructor guidance at all times.

Genesis Defensive Training reserves the right to remove any participant from training for unsafe behavior, disruptive conduct, impairment, or failure to follow safety procedures without refund.

Policy Updates

Genesis Defensive Training reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice.
